Inbox Important Rules for Legislative Monitoring
Define rules to mark specific inbox items as important, then filter your inbox and email notifications to stay focused on the files that need attention.
Setting Up Importance Rules
Inbox settings now include an Importance tab where users define which items matter most to them. A rule targets a subject: everything for a client, that client's tracked items, or a single topic. Rules can be narrowed by jurisdiction, or left to cover everything. Multiple rules stack, so a user working across several clients or issues can configure them all at once. Importance is per-user and fully opt-in. It never removes items from the Inbox.
Inbox Filtering and Indicators
An "Important only" filter is available in the Inbox alongside the existing filters. Switch to it to see only the items your rules have flagged. Important items also carry a red indicator in the list view, so they stand out when browsing the full feed.
Email Notification Settings
Each notification type in your settings gains an "Important only" option alongside the existing priority levels. Set a particular kind of update to important-only to keep your digest or immediate alerts focused on flagged items.
