Ask Wonk About Any Text You Select
Select text anywhere in Page to get suggested questions about that passage and a cited answer from Wonk, right where you're reading.
Ask About What You're Reading
Select a passage anywhere in Page, like a clause in a bill, a line from a hearing transcript, or a paragraph in a news story, and a small Wonk card appears next to it. You can ask about it without leaving the page or opening a chat.
Suggested Questions for That Passage
The card suggests three questions about the text you selected. Wonk also reads the text around your selection, so the suggestions fit what you're looking at, not just the words you highlighted. Pick one, or type your own.
You can start typing as soon as the card appears, and the arrow keys move through the suggestions. Copying still works as usual: the card only takes over once you start typing.
Answers Right in the Card
Wonk answers inside the card with a short response and numbered citations to its sources. Ask a follow-up in the same card, or rate the answer with a thumbs up or down.
Continue in Wonk to Go Deeper
When a question turns into a longer conversation, choose Continue in Wonk to pick up the same chat in the Wonk side panel, with your questions and Wonk's answers so far.
Availability
Available now on desktop for all Page users. It isn't available on mobile, where your device's own text selection menu stays in place.
